Sage 200 Labs publishes first lab project

The Sage 200 ERP team (a department within the Sage UK MMD) publishes its first Sage 200 labs projects...a custom content part that enables a Sage 200 user to plot a route using Bing Maps and Bing Map Services from within their Sage 200 desktop application.

UK map Bird´s Eye availability

We programmed a software-scanner to detect where Bird´s eye view is available.

We scanned total Europe and North America with an accuray of 250 m (~ 275 yards).

Feedback, Questions, and Quiz Answers

While sitting on the train on my way back from the meeting on Wednesday night, I was able to go through all the feedback forms that had been handed in. Thankyou to everyone who completed them - as Brian said, this is a user group, and we want to make sure that we are running it in the best way to be helpful to the community, so telling us what you liked (and didn't like) is really helpful.

Thanks for making a brilliant first event

Thank you everyone for making last night's first event either in person or online. It was great to see so many people battle through the weather to make it there and I hope you all enjoyed the event as much as I did. Integrating SQL Server 2008 and Bing Maps

Just to add to the lineup for the first meeting, I'll be doing some demos of some of the different ways to integrate Bing Maps + SQL Server 2008. In this session I'll be covering, amongst other things:

  • Different methods to retrieve and display SQL Server spatial data on Bing Maps - shape layers (GeoRSS, KML) and dynamic tile layers, and discussing the relative advantages of each method.
